Hey everyone!
I just open-sourced a high-performance Google Maps Lead Scraper that automatically gathers local business leads completely lacking website links.
If you are offering website builds, search optimization, or agency services, these are the absolute warmest prospects you can find because they are losing half their local search leads to competitors.
Usually, Google Maps scraping requires expensive API keys and strict daily query limits. This tool uses Playwright and Chromium under the hood to bypass API restrictions entirely.
Key features I built:
- Dynamic 50-State Targeting: Checks and caches the U.S. Census Bureau database dynamically, letting you crawl any of the 3,143 counties in the United States effortlessly (e.g. --state TX or --state NY).
- DuckDuckGo Email locator: For every website-less business discovered, the scraper crawls DuckDuckGo indexes to extract their public contact email addresses.
- Duplication Safeguards: Progressive saves to a local CSV sheet using URL and phone hashing so you never scrape or text a business twice.
- Optional carrier validation slots: Ready for you to drop in free Numverify or Abstract keys to filter out landlines so your texts only hit verified cell lines.
The code is fully packaged on my GitHub with step-by-step guides for both developers and automated AI agents to execute.
