For the Consultants, help a brother out

For anyone going down the Consultant path, what frameworks do you guys use for the discovery. I know how to talk to a business owner to figure out their contraints, but i know i can do better im just not asking the right questions and i think its because i dont have a framework that goes down the funnel to better diagnose a problem.
