CRM Optimization → Good Market?

I have talked with a few businesses that essentially just need to make their CRM work better. I, being the automation person, can do this.

I wanted the advice of others who have either tried this or have found another product that works better.

The idea is this:

CRMs' are not perfect. There is a lot of manual labor done within the CRM but also from taking a process from Step 1 → Step 2, and then Step 2 → Step 3, etc.. Oftentimes companies seem to buy multiple other software programs for various steps in their process and there is a lot of efficiency moving from one software to another, hence an opportunity.

What are your thoughts on this? I am trying to narrow down my offer to one or two things, and this is probably top of my list currently.
