🔒 Can ElevenLabs voice clones become locked after creation?

I’m using ElevenLabs with a voice clone I created myself (not a preset voice).

When the clone was first created, I could edit it and add more training samples, but now that option is gone:– the voice still works for TTS– I can select and use it normally– but I can’t add or modify samples anymore

I haven’t intentionally changed the workflow, so I’m trying to understand whether this is:– an automatic lock after internal review– a limitation of the clone type (Instant vs Professional)– a plan / permission issue– or simply how ElevenLabs is designed

Has anyone experienced this?Can voice clones become “frozen” after creation, or is there a way to keep training them over time?

Any technical insight would be appreciated.
