Leaning Into Healing Skool • Immersion Ministries
Rev. Dr. Noel Simms
WELCOME, FAMILY
This rhythm is NOT about:
❌ pushing through pain
❌ pretending to be strong
❌ spiritualizing trauma
❌ “enduring” wounds quietly
❌ bypassing emotions
❌ proving anything to God or others
This is a liberation rhythm, a healing rhythm, a trauma-informed rhythm.
God isn’t asking you to “hold on” or “endure suffering.”
God is inviting you to:
- listen to your body
- honor your emotions
- release what harms you
- reclaim what belongs to you
- and live as a whole human being
This is a rhythm of restoration, not endurance.
⭐
MONDAY — ALIGNMENT DAY
Theme: Center yourself for the week.
Scripture: Isaiah 43:1–2
Purpose:
Not to “perform” for God, but to ground yourself in who you are.
Practices:
- Read Isaiah 43 and notice the gentleness in the text
- Set one emotional, one spiritual, and one purpose intention
- Pray: “Lord, align me with what brings life, release what brings harm.”
- Move your body at your own pace (no burnout)
⭐
TUESDAY — TRUTH DAY
Theme: Honest self-awareness, not self-judgment.
Scripture: Psalm 139:23–24
Purpose:
To explore what’s happening in you — not to “fix” yourself.
Practices:
- Read Psalm 139 as an invitation, not a command
- Write one truth you’re learning, one emotion you’re noticing
- Pray: “God, help me see myself with compassion, not condemnation.”
- Do something nurturing
⭐
WEDNESDAY — BOUNDARIES & SOVEREIGNTY DAY
Theme: Protecting your spirit is holy.
Scripture: Proverbs 4:23
Purpose:
Boundaries are not walls — they are self-respect.
Practices:
- Read Proverbs 4:23 through a trauma-informed lens
- Identify one boundary that preserves your peace
- Pray: “God, give me permission to choose myself when needed.”
- Release any guilt for saying no
⭐
THURSDAY — HEALING & COMPASSION DAY
Theme: Be gentle with what still hurts.
Scripture: Psalm 147:3
Purpose:
Healing is not endurance — it is permission to feel without shame.
Practices:
- Read Psalm 147:3 slowly
- 3 minutes of breathwork or grounding
- Ask yourself: “Where am I tender today?”
- Pray: “Teach me to honor my pain without rushing it.”
⭐
FRIDAY — CALLING & PURPOSE DAY
Theme: Lean into your gifts without pressure.
Scripture: Luke 4:18–19
Purpose:
Your calling flows from your wholeness, not your wounds.
Practices:
- Read Luke 4:18–19 as a liberation mandate
- Touch one area of purpose (small, manageable steps)
- Pray: “Stir my gifts, but don’t let me abandon myself to serve.”
⭐
SATURDAY — RESTORATION & RECREATION DAY
Theme: Rest is resistance.
Scripture: Matthew 11:28–30
Purpose:
Rest disrupts trauma.
Rest rejects endurance theology.
Rest makes room for healing.
Practices:
- Engage with Matthew 11 as an invitation to relief
- Do one thing that restores your joy
- Pray: “Restore me in ways that performance never could.”
- No emotional replaying, no internal punishment
⭐
SUNDAY — WORSHIP & IDENTITY DAY
Theme: Identity rooted in liberation, not suffering.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17
Purpose:
Remember: you are not defined by trauma — you are becoming through healing.
Practices:
- Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 as a declaration of renewal
- Worship without pressure
- List 3 things that brought life this week
- Pray:“God, continue shaping me into the healed, whole person You imagine.”
⭐ **FINAL WORD:
This weekly rhythm is not about surviving — it is about becoming.**
You are not here to endure.
You are here to:
- heal
- grow
- rest
- release
- rise
- and return to yourself
This is a freedom rhythm, not a suffering rhythm.
A healing rhythm, not a holiness-by-pain rhythm.
A liberation rhythm, not a “hold on and take it” rhythm.
And you don’t walk it alone.
