I love this group even though so far I haven’t used many of the features but what I love is it got me to finally start recording myself which I was procrastinating about. Playing under a camera is like recital preparation with do-overs and recitals always feel good when you don’t mess up. Going forward I will probably do more Audacity sessions if I get up my courage.

As an adult beginner, it’s easy to be completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of “stuff” available at a fingertip. Having worked through a number of Le Cheile YouTube videos and feeling comfortable with Leah’s clarity and approach, I took the plunge of becoming a member and I’m very glad I have. There is the great benefit of online group classes, lot’s of materials/ resources for when time allows(!) and a welcoming and supportive community of other learners. I’m here for the long run😀

Why do I enjoy Le Cheile music? Group and private lessons- A ton of resources available on video for learning( sight reading, rhythm, practice techniques)- Weekly courses (Piano Lab, practice boot camps)- Practice partner sessions- Sessions to help with performance anxiety- Masterclasses To just name a few. The community section is also supportive and helps me learn. Leah participates in the conversations, which is helpful.

Being with the original Le Chiele Group for a few of years was a great experience, however, it doesn't compare with this new environment. Meeting other people who are working through the same struggles helps to boost the drive to continue. The enjoyment of reading the posts; having some fun; rooting for members in their wins; and understanding their frustrations that often match your own. I am continually amazed at how Leah's teaching and guidance ideas seem to grow exponentially.
