One on One time
I have multiple grandchildren i’m raising so it’s a little overwhelming but I have help 3 days a week with housework and babysitting.
I’ve started Mondays as one on one time. Each child gets me for at least an hour on their own. It made for a long day for me but it was delightful to be present with just one. I could talk with them, be silly and play and enjoy them completely without interruption. We played the music they liked and grabbed a snack as shared it. We call it Coffee break with Mom.
I enjoyed it and hope that this can be something we can do together every Monday.
I didn’t feel overwhelmed. It was joyful!
What are some of the things you do for one on one time with your little person?
