Who am I? What do I do?
Well......my name's Aaron and I started Lovejoy's Lawn Care back in April of 2024. Not really knowing anything about running a business or how to run a business I decide to jump in.......all the way in.......feet first........into working for myself / by myself. The solo doing it all myself thing isn't easy as I now have right around 15 or so customers (between the weekly's, bi-weekly's, and once monthly's) that I mow for. So far I love doing what I do and getting out there meeting new people and transforming lawns. I'm from Southern Maine, USA. My goal for 2025: To make more money and to add some more customers to my client list. With what I currently have for customers I don't even make $500 a week and I feel like I should at least be making a liveable wage. Maybe I'm wrong?? Long term goal: To get a 4x4 truck with a plow for snow removal when the time comes. To be able to move into more profitable areas with a team of 2 to 4 employees. I would start small with the whole having employees because I really do enjoy doing it solo. I look forward to getting to know y'all. Feel free to drop your tips, tricks, advice, whatever you think might be helpful to me going into my second season. I've just been doing trial and error. Also just to add....... I'm searching for a way to market my business without having to spend money (I have no funds for marketing).

Hey legends! 👋 Who am I & what do I do? 🦄 I’m Hunta, the founder of Mowex — a new lawn care business focused on affordable, flat-rate mowing with fast, reliable service and a simple structure. Just kicked things off and loving the journey so far! 💚✂️ My goal for 2025? 🎯 To scale Mowex into one of the most trusted lawn services in my area and eventually expand into nearby suburbs with a small team. I’m aiming to build a strong client base and run a systemised business that runs smoothly and profitably. My biggest challenge? 🌋 Finding the balance between marketing, consistency, and not burning out — especially while doing everything solo in the early days. I also want to stay on top of content creation while managing jobs and customer service. Excited to connect with all of you and learn from your journeys 🙌 Drop your tips, tools, or words of wisdom if you’ve been where I am! 💭 Let’s grow 🍃

About me
- Who you are and what you do?🦄 - I’m Paul and right I’m going to school for architecture and engineering. - What's your goal for 2025? 🎯 - My goals for 2025 is to help my uncle with his business, and pass my classes with good grades. - What's your biggest challenge? 🌋 - My biggest challenges has been working on maintenance on my uncle’s lawn care company. I didn’t realize how much parts for mower costs. Right my uncle is still a small business so he is paying all the parts and insurance for the company out of his pocket. Also right now he is having issues paying customers because he small business but he adds up all the yards we do then divide it by how many people work plus on for the company but sometimes it is only $10 we get for a whole day. Ex $15+$30+$20=$65 an let’s say 3 people work plus the company so divide $65 by 4 you $16.25 for the day each person gets plus the company that’s not much money.
