I saw you mentioned wanting to make an app to combine SRS, Yomitan, and a Migaku-type thing to ease the process of learning, removing the friction.

I'll ask again, please check out https://manatan.com/. It's been so amazing for me to read and mine. It's still early days with things still cooking (built in SRS, stats, ect) and a bit rough around the edges, but it blows so much stuff away. Kolby, the main dev, is always active, and I'm sure input from a language coach/teacher would go far.
