The economy has changed and will probably never return to what we had as a child. School education came at a price of our naive understanding to society bigger picture.
School was invented to create a constant stream of compliant factory workers to grow corporate businesses in the 1900s.
It continues to do an excellent job at achieving this goal, but it’s not a goal we need to achieve.
A child mind is meant to grow and develop innovation adding value to society.
I imagine a different set of goals and I hope to start a discussion about how we can change this outcome. One thing is certain: if we keep doing what we’ve been doing, we’re going to keep getting what we’ve been getting.
Our kids are too important to sacrifice losing their dreams.
What do you think we can do to change the direction of education for the next generation?
