These Kids Don’t Listen
One thing I’ve learned as a parent is this:
Children don’t misbehave to make us angry they misbehave because they don’t have the skills yet. Discipline is not punishment, it’s teaching.”
When we correct from anger, we teach fear.
When we correct from patience, we teach character.
It’s okay to step away before you respond. That pause is parenting too.
