Kids Dance Lab is a dance program held at the Optimist Community Centre in Windsor, designed to help children explore movement, rhythm, and creativity in a fun environment.
Each session introduces kids to dance through games, simple combinations, and creative movement. Tap dance is used as a rhythmic foundation, supporting coordination, musicality, and confidence while keeping classes playful.
Classes are led by Helen Burkett, a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator with years of teaching experience. Her style is warm, encouraging, and rooted in musicality, helping kids feel successful, expressive, and confident.
Kids Dance Lab is pressure-free, with no recitals, competitions, or prior dance experience required.
