Q&A Call is happening in 3 hours
Day 1 of my YouTube journey — and honestly, I almost didn't get here.
For months I tried everything to get my book Fueling the Night Shift in front of real night shift nurses. Skool, X, Pinterest, Reddit, Facebook. You name it, I probably burned a week on each. Then it hit me: what if I just… made videos for them? Sounded simple. It wasn't. I went through nearly every mainstream AI video tool out there. Robotic characters, stiff movements, hours of tweaking prompts for results I still wasn't proud of. Genuinely painful. More than once I nearly walked away. Then I came across Gemini Omni Flash, and everything clicked. I stopped obsessing over the tech and started asking the real question — what do night shift nurses actually struggle with at 3AM? That's when the angle found me: the coffee-snack-regret loop. Not a willpower problem. A biology problem. Practical, real, useful. I wrote the script, refined it, rebuilt it. It took way more time than I expected, and a ton of pain in between. But that learning process? Worth every hour. Watching the final video come out as good as it did — I can't really describe that feeling. Where there's a will, there's a way. From here, I'm committing to a daily series with Gemini — one video, every single day. Honestly, I don't know what it'll do for Fueling the Night Shift. Maybe nothing. Maybe something. But if even one night shift nurse picks up one practical tip from these videos, I'm more than satisfied. And honestly? I've enjoyed the process too much to stop. If you're curious, the first one's live here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SqV8INEl7V8 — I'll be adding to it every day. This community has seen countless books and videos, so I’d truly appreciate your honest feedback on this debut work. What resonated with you? What didn’t land? No sugarcoating — I’m still learning, and every candid note helps me craft a better next video for those selfless, dedicated night shift nurses who command respect yet tug at your heartstrings, the ones who truly need it. Thank you so much for your time. 🙏
Let's all do a MEME of the day - here's how
What is a meme: A meme is basically an inside joke the whole internet is in on — an image, video, or phrase that gets copied, tweaked, and passed around because people instantly get it. The word itself comes from Richard Dawkins in 1976. He coined meme to mean a little unit of culture that spreads from person to person, like a gene. 1. It has a template. The image does half the talking. Think Distracted Boyfriend, Grumpy Cat, or just a photo of a steaming cup of coffee. 2. It has short text. Usually 1 to 2 lines. The humor or inspiration comes from the contrast between the image and the words. 3. It is instantly shareable. Good memes are relatable, not complicated. If someone can read it in 3 seconds and smile, it will travel. Here is a prompt that will help you create your meme: Meme of the Day Prompt Template Prompt: Create a fun, clear, eye-catching “Meme of the Day” image for: Day of the Week: [INSERT DAY] Meme Text: [INSERT MEME TEXT HERE] or have an ai tool suggest one Create an image that matches the mood of the meme. The image should be humorous, expressive, and easy to understand at a glance. Include the meme text directly on the image in large, bold, readable lettering. At the top of the image, include: “[INSERT DAY] Meme of the Day” Use bright colors, good contrast, and a clean layout. Make the image suitable for posting on social media, a group page, or a community feed. Style: funny, friendly, modern, shareable, visually engaging. Avoid: tiny text, cluttered background, hard-to-read fonts, offensive humor, or too many visual details. Example Use Day of the Week: Monday Meme Text: “My coffee needs coffee.” This would become an image titled: “Monday Meme of the Day” with a funny image of a tired coffee mug, sleepy eyes, and a dramatic morning mood.
