I just want to encourage anybody who's in this group, put their writing on pause, and needs that encouragement to get writing again. I love how this group is so positive. Every time I would see an accountability post, somebody having a win, or some really cool new tool from Miss @Krista Brea , it was encouraging as opposed to a burden. It didn't feel like I was being naughty by not keeping up. It didn't feel like I was getting more and more behind. It just felt like there was a good place for me to go whenever I was ready. I did some praying and some soul-searching October 1st and came to the conclusion that this book needs to be written this quarter so I'm doing it every morning till it's done, barring 2-3 days of batching emails and posts a month. I'm not marketing to my group. I am not doing other big projects. What I'm doing is writing this book. I've been working between 6 and 8 each morning for 3 days this week and have 19,694 words in my transcript document ready for first level edits. This is more than I did in weeks before. Do I know that these words will probably get cut? Yeah. Will they probably get added to? Absolutely. But I have words on the page that I didn't have before and I have a solid structure and plan for how to get more on the page. I have a rhythm and rhythms can lead to habits. If I keep this up I hope to have enough words on the page to start editing in earnest in the next month or two. That would be AWESOME. Hi everyone 👋, I just wanted to share my good news...I've recently self-published three of my books. The Sanctuary Within The Language of Staying and The Chalk Door Each book is very different; they all come from the same place — a lifelong journey through the storms, questions, losses, loves and lessons that make us human. All are now available on Amazon in print and Kindle formats. It's been years in the making- writing, editing, rewriting, editing, designing the covers, testing through friends and all that draining stuff- but the relief after finally publishing has really helped me continue with the writing of other books I have been working on throughout my life.

Yesterday, I recorded the 13-minute intro for my new audiobook, Healing Isn't Your Job. Playing it back, it was flat, stiff, and clearly sounded like reading off a page. Just as I planned to re-record, I logged into my KDP dashboard and discovered I’d been invited to the Amazon Virtual Voice (AI narration) beta. The audiobook is live now on Audible (US): 👉 Healing Isn't Your Job on Audible US-only & free (for now): Distribution is currently limited to the US marketplace Self-narration is a distinct skill from writing, and getting a great take requires serious effort. Good morning to all! ☀️ Today, I’m officially on Day 15 of my 30-day challenge of going LIVE consistently on TikTok without taking a break! 🎉 This experience has definitely been a little challenging at times, especially trying to come up with the right content to keep people engaged during the LIVE. But at the same time, it has been educational for me as well as for the people who are listening, learning, and showing up. So here you have it. My two books I thought I could create in one day took a bit longer. And I still see areas for improvement. But here's the thing... AI cut my book production from two years (illustrating it myself) to a few weeks. It's getting to the point where AI can create images quickly, consistently, and with ease. One of the books listed was created in 2023 with Leonard AI and so there may not be as much consistency. And here's the real rub... I have not one book done, but FOUR BOOKS done. I couldn't even fathom this in the last five years. I think we're going to see a huge shift in book and film production like never before. Many have tools to do just this. So look out for more creativity not less.
