The American Trilogy
1 Demerara Sugar Cube
1 Dash Soda Water
4 Dashes Orange Bitters
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
1oz (30ml) Rye Whiskey 100 Proof
1oz (30ml) Applejack 100 Proof
Orange Twist
Place Sugar cube on a rocks glass. Add a dash of soda water, orange bitters and angostura. Muddle with the back of a mixing spoon. Add Rye and Applejack. Lower a big rock of ice into the glass and stir until sufficiently cold/diluted. Enjoy!
Applejack can be substituted by Calvados.
