Salary Negotiation Tips
Hi Chris,
In my experience, i have previously been asked by recruiters to confirm a salary /daily rate prior to interviews, yet only to find after the interview the role is more senior or complex than initially pitched or proposed. In other instances, there were no advertised job descriptions or detailed JD provided.
For these cases, how should one negotiate salary? In particular, in order to safeguard oneself and not agree to a rate until the true scope of the role is understood. It is hard when these recruiters often want to lock in a rate prior, and if you don't agree, you don't get an interview.
