Is there a money threshold?
Money sounds like מני, “my מן.”
In the desert, each person received exactly the amount of מן they needed for that day. Not more, not less.
Maybe that is the deeper idea of money. כסף can be read as כ־סף, like a threshold.
Money has a limit. It is the line between what I need and what I simply want more of.
