The "Life After the Watchtower" Community Code of Conduct

Welcome Home. To keep this a safe and healing space for everyone, we ask that you follow these four core pillars:

Lead with Empathy (No Judgment) We are all at different stages of our journey—some are fully out (POMO), some are still inside but mentally out (PIMO). Treat everyone with the kindness you wish you had received. No shaming of those who are still struggling with indoctrination.
Protect Our Privacy (Strictly Confidential) Safety is our priority. Assume that everything shared in this community stays in this community. Do not share screenshots, identify members, or "out" anyone without their explicit consent. We have a zero-tolerance policy for "snitching" to the organization.
Focus on Healing (Not Just Venting) While it’s okay to share your frustrations, our goal is to move forward. Let’s focus our energy on deconstructing, recovering, and building our new lives. Comments that are purely hateful or designed to harass individuals will be removed.
No Recruitment or Proselytizing This is a space to find your truth, not to be told another one. Please do not use this group to recruit for other religions, political groups, or MLM schemes. We are here to support your personal autonomy.
