Writing
Sometimes we can go through life not realising how important we are to God and His purpose for our lives. We can begin to believe the lie that because we are one gender or another, because society has not always valued us equally, somehow we are inferior, insignificant, or less worthy of being used by God.
But God does not see you that way.
From the very beginning in Genesis 1:27, we see that humanity was created in the image of God. Male and female both carry His image, His value, and His purpose. You were not an afterthought. You were intentionally crafted by the Creator Himself.
There is a call on your life that is uniquely yours.
Nobody else has your personality, your voice, your story, your experiences, or your way of loving people. Yes, perhaps if someone refuses God, He may raise up another to accomplish something similar. But it will never look exactly the same, because there is only one you. The way God designed you to carry His presence into the world is completely unique.
Your voice matters. Your obedience matters. Your life matters.
If you are struggling with self esteem, identity, rejection, or feeling unseen, I want to encourage you today that you are deeply loved by God. You are His precious child, created with intention and purpose. Heaven is not overlooking you.
So stop measuring your worth by the opinions of people and start seeing yourself through the eyes of your Creator.
You were created on purpose, for a purpose.
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” — Genesis 1:27
