Introduction
Hey everyone! 👋🏾 I’m Virginia J Boykin, and let me tell you — entrepreneurship has had me praying, praising, and pushing all at the same time. 😅
I’m the proud CEO of Next Step Counseling, a Licensed IBHS youth mental health agency here in Philadelphia. We serve children and teens with behavioral and emotional needs right in their homes, schools, and communities. In other words: we help families breathe again. 🙌🏾💙
I’ve been an entrepreneur for a little over a year now, and whew… this journey has been giving plot twists every week. From licensing, to credentialing, to building a whole clinical team — I’ve been grinding like my future depends on it (because it does). 😄
Right now, I’m hoping to get support, connections, and resources from this community — funding opportunities, partnerships, and just some good old “keep going sis” energy. I’m building something real for the kids in my city, and I’m looking for people who believe in impact AND elevation.
