I’ve remembered why I love painting bigger.
There’s something so freeing about starting with a loose, drippy layer of spray paint and watching the colours run.
Then the drawing settles on top, and the whole thing begins to take shape.
It’s actually quite a while before I even touch a brush.
I’m about to begin the final oil layer now, and this is the moment where it really starts to glow.
My favourite part of the painting is the first layers.
Which part of your painting process do you love the most??
