Welcome, intro to Heart Types

JoElle, here! As the founder and identity architect of Ipseity Approach™, I want to welcome you to the program. In this video, I have summarized the Biblical heart type system based on the 7 trees from Isaiah 41:19. I've outlined how each of the seven heart types (cedar, acacia, myrtle, olive, pine, fir, and boxwood) has distinct personality styles and double-edged swords, with specific characteristics and challenges. You can access this assessment in the 'classroom' tab in SKOOL.

In this overview, I share the importance of identifying heart types through the double-edged sword metric rather than starting with how individuals hear from God, emphasizing that this approach bypasses mental overlays and focuses on the heart first. If you cannot discern your heart type at this stage that is okay, there is a reason for that. What we call the "hijackers" of attachment, theory of mind and trauma can affect heart type identification. Some of these courses mentioned are already available in the classroom include "Are You Hijacked" and the 7 gateways to a healed heart.
