Taking Profit Early vs Staying Patient?
Curious to see peoples behaviors versus discipline to their own strategy.
Scenario: If your goal/strategy is at least 2R but it comes right after an area of liquidity (and it’s just toying right at that mark). Are you taken what’s given 1.7/1.8/1.9R or are you staying discipline and waiting out the +2R?
I know this is a vague scenario at best but I imagine we can all relate.
Waiting for 2R even if it means getting nothing.
Buying/selling the profit short of my target. Knowing there’s a chance for much more than 2R.
I make the wrong decision every time!
