Welp, week 1 of live trading EAs and all in all, I'd say it was mildly successful.
Here are some takeaways for those of you about to make the jump.
First, FOMO is a MOFO. I swear I had to sit on my hands at times to keep from mashing the buttons. I felt a bit like Lex Luthor, I was seeing Super Man everywhere...or at least the setups...or so I thought.
As such, on Monday, I burned through my first EA account with nothing but shame and regret to show for it.
I was able to slow myself down as the week went on and make much better entries and exits by sticking to the plan. I still felt to FOMO, and might have acted out once or twice more on it. I am working on that.
As the week winds down, I have 1 account over the 53K requirement, just need to log 2 more days of trading. The remaining 3 accounts are in the black. I didn't have them all linked together until today due to not understanding that TradingView won't allow group trading. I ended up using TradingView to plan my trades and then Tradovate directly to execute.
My biggest realizations of the week were:
- Kyle's system works....as long as you work it. There cannot be success without action. Thank you Kyle for all of this amazing content and for the amazing community you have assembled. You are a blessing.
- This is achievable!!! I have the proof, so now it's up to me to put in the work. I WILL be a Day Trader....it's not an if, simply a when at this point.
Thank you, again, Kyle for all you have given this group.
