Is AMD done dropping?

AMD just announced its earnings with double beat - revenue and profit.

However, investors are expecting bigger beats

Hence, the stock is down more than 6% after earnings

The key here is to understand

The earnings reaction of what you see today is not so much about the specific quarterly earnings as that is already historical news

But rather, the market is forward looking.

This means you should focus on the two earnings after the current earnings.

With AMD's revenue and profit projection, the uptrend will likely continue

So the secret comes down to timing.

Right now, AMD is forming a classic technical analysis top and it is quite far from its EMAs.

This means there's more room for AMD to drop and you can buy at adeeper discount than the price today.

In other words, we can wait.
