This is something so many of us struggle with (myself included). We are the ones who always show up. The ones people count on. The ones who say, “I got it,” even when we don’t.
But being the one who’s always giving can be exhausting. And sometimes, that constant giving isn’t just coming from love—it’s coming from a belief that we have to.
✨ “If I don’t do it, no one else will.”
✨ “I don’t want to be selfish.”
✨ “People need me.”
Sound familiar?
Always saying yes, always carrying the load, always putting yourself last—it isn’t the answer.
In fact, it’s blocking the very support, love, and ease that you deserve.
Your exhaustion is a message. Your overwhelm is wisdom. It’s time to listen.
So here’s my invitation: Practice receiving.
💛 Ask for help—even in the smallest ways.
💛 Say no without guilt.
💛 Choose you the way you’ve been choosing everyone else.
Because your worth isn’t in what you do for others. It’s in who you are. And you deserve to be held, too. ❤️
How are you going to receive this week? I’m going to ask for help with cleaning the house!
