Our Introduction to Dog Grooming Course is designed for anyone interested in beginning their journey into the grooming industry or expanding their knowledge of basic coat care for home maintenance.
Throughout the course, we’ll cover the basics of brushing, bathing, drying, nail care, ear cleaning, and hygiene maintenance, along with an introduction to coat preparation and general grooming/styling routines.
You’ll also gain valuable knowledge about animal welfare, grooming safety, and recognising when a dog may need extra care or patience during a grooming session. Understanding these fundamentals helps create a calm, safe, and positive experience for both the dog and the groomer.
This course will provide plenty reading and video lessons for your ease.
