Relfection
A servant’s awareness that Allah knows His servants, their schemes, their plots, and what they say, makes people’s words lighter upon him, and he finds honor and sufficiency in Allah alone.
As Allah says in the Qur’an (Surah Yūsuf, 12:77):
“They said, ‘If he steals, then a brother of his stole before.’ But Joseph kept it within himself and did not reveal it to them. He said, ‘You are in a worse position, and God knows best what you describe.’”
