Reflection
Qur’anic Verse — Surah Yūsuf (12:80)
“When they lost all hope of persuading him, they withdrew to confer privately. The eldest among them said, ‘Do you not know that your father took a solemn pledge from you by Allah, and that previously you failed in your duty regarding Joseph? I will not leave this land until my father allows me to return, or Allah decides for me; and He is the best of judges.’”
Reflection:
“From wisdom is that family issues should be discussed within the family itself, without informing outsiders, seeking unity of word and protecting the household from the envy and ill-will of others.
It is the responsibility of the eldest brother to take the lead, make the decision, and gather his siblings upon the right course of action, one that brings the pleasure of the parents and brings them happiness.”
