One thing I've always took away from this quote is that you shouldn't go out of your way to be liked but you should go out of your way to be honest. I think too many of us are complacent in life with our creature comforts and it shows.
I'm not saying to be obnoxious and overbearing but I am saying to stand up for things you believe to be right. It astounds me that so many people I talk to don't even know what a worldview is let alone have a defined one.
This is a huge problem because if you don't have a defined worldview you're likely to have it defined for you. People will build a narrative about you and you'll have to defend something that you don't even know if you believe in or not. Don't ride the fence, pick a side and don't be a man without a country.
