Colorblind
They came in your life
with clean hands
ready to show you everything
the world had to offer
but
the expectations you had
didn't match the reality
Soon you become
Mad
fire burning
orange
face burnt orange
caring no longer
trying to understand
why they would hurt you
leaving your heart broken
shattered
Sadness
creeps in
blue
soul cobalt
leaving you alone
without anyone
tears falling
seeking a shoulder to cry on
burning those bridges
wishing everyone away
was the worse thing you could do
Jealousy
new love
green
dark emeralds
you see another
unfortuneatly understanding
she's not you
pretending to shake it off
you remember the times
where he made you
Smile
a crush
yellow
golden dreams
you and him
everthing seem surreal
the world seemed perfect
memories were made
laughter was the sound of many seasons
but that all faded
Pain
broken promises
black
midnight madness
your mind begans to wander
darkness starts to take over
hurt over happiness
revenge starts to tap on your chest
questions turn into thoughts
Peace
steps in
purple
lavender dreams
mind at ease
feeling of moving forward
tire of being a setback
wanting to be loved
and not just another option for
someone else to choose

cherry kisses
from your lips
are what you long to give
opening up your heart
becomes a new goal
yet a challenge that begs to be accepted
Wether you're green due to jealousy
or even be at peace like a purple sunset
Feelings takeover
causing you to become something you're not
orange flames can express your anger
happiness can be as yellow as the sun above
bringing life
emotions can be dark
cold
black as night
yet
they can be on the forefront
stopping you like a light or
covering you like a red blanket
emotions mean nothing
has no meaning
no assistance

but it means nothing in a relationship
