There’s a strange pressure that shows up this time of year, especially as we get closer to NY's Eve.
If the year went well, it nudges you quietly: “Don’t slow down. Keep the pace. Do more.” If the year was hard, it’s louder and more urgent: “Fix it now. Hurry. There’s still time before January 1.”
Either way, here you are — Christmas week — and work is probably still lingering in your thoughts. (I KNOW they are in mine, lol) So here’s a gentle reminder…
Not this week.
This isn’t the week to analyze what worked or what didn’t. It's not the week to beat yourself up over missed goals. It's not the week to mentally rewrite the entire year.
This is the week to unplug.
❤️ To be with your people.
💚 To laugh way too loud.
❤️ To play games that get a little out of hand.
💚 To eat alllll the food.
❤️ To enjoy slow mornings without an agenda.
This week is about being, not becoming. You don’t need a standout year to earn this break! You don’t need to check every box to be worthy of rest.... because here’s the truth we forget far too easily…
Your business does not define you. Your revenue is not your worth. A single calendar year doesn’t get to decide how you feel about yourself.
You work hard. Truly hard. When a week shows up inviting you to step away — you should take it.
We'll be here next year. (with some amazing stuff!) The internet isn't going anywhere.
Take time with things that matter.
Have a blessed holiday season...
