When your story/you can't decide what to be...
Remnant Chronicles keeps trying to decide what it wants to be. Started as a novel concept I wanted to turn into a feature. Then I realized the world was too big and started thinking multiple Novella's that could be made into a limited series. Then I wondered if it should just be a novel first.
Here's what I finally asked myself: What format serves THIS story best? Not what format is "easier to sell" or "more realistic" - what does the story actually need?
I still don't know. I just know it needs to be something... and I'll keep writing it until it's done. I like the idea of Novellas since I can get something made and delivered without having to be actually finished the whole story (and I want pictures). Does anyone on here have thoughts on this?
Anyone else format-wrestling? How are you deciding between feature/series/novel/novellas?

We are going to write a piece of original IP, and then take it all the way to making a feature (or tv series if we get lucky).
