Confession time: I personally despise small talk. I can't stand it, I don't digest it, and I'm terrible at it.

I woke up today and saw the first snow of the season, and it brought me an unusual sense of peace and quiet joy. Lately, it's been so gray, dark, and ugly... but today, the world suddenly became brighter!
