Abuse. Oh. Wow. Such a strong word, isn't it? 💥
There are so many different types of abuses:
  • Physical 💪 is very obvious because we see the results of it right on the surface, on our skin.
  • Financial abuse 💸 can hide in very different shapes and voices, so it's sometimes hard to recognize it.
  • Psychological abuse 🖤 grabs you by your core, by your heart, and it's like a vortex 🌪️ that takes you deeper and deeper into someone else's reality.
Remember this: Abuse and boundaries are two sides of the same coin. ☯️
And don't get me wrong. Boundaries do not equal non-acceptance, or a closed-minded way of being.
You can sometimes imagine a boundary as a battery 🔋, because it can just mean the level of your energy to be able to handle some situation right now. Sometimes a boundary can be some type of a wall 🧱 which you set between you and the other person. Sometimes a boundary may be a deal 🤝 you make with yourself to establish and remember your core values.
So it's good to know your individual types of abuses and types of boundaries as your personal code 🔑 to communicate with people. With yourself. With the team. And make good decisions for your today and tomorrow.
Och, and if we all know that about ourselves, wouldn't it be easier to create a Team that communicates within the similar types of boundaries and abuses? Imagine the possibilities! ✨
