Your Prop Firm Is Not the Problem
Unpopular truth:
Your prop firm is probably not the reason you failed.
The rules may be annoying.
The drawdown may be tight.
The consistency rule may be frustrating.
But most traders break before the rules break them.
They oversize.
They force trades.
They trade boredom.
They trade losses.
They trade because they want the payout, not because the setup exists.
A funded account will not fix an undisciplined trader.
It will expose one faster.
The real question is not:
“Can I pass?”
The real question is:
“Can I trade in a way that does not require luck to survive?”
That is the ICC standard.
