Welcome to Hyrox for Beginners.
My name is Billy, I’m 40 years old and I’ve been competing in HYROX for the past two years.
When I first started, I was a complete beginner. Like most people entering the sport, I had to learn how to combine running, strength and race strategy from the ground up. Through consistent training, trial and error, and a lot of hard work, I’ve been able to steadily improve my performance and I’m now pushing close to the sub-70 minute mark and my goal is to compete at the top of my age group.
I started the HYROX for Beginners community because I want to share the knowledge and lessons I’ve learned along the way. As a qualified personal trainer, I want to combine my coaching experience with my own journey in the sport to help others get started, improve their performance, and stay motivated.
This community is here to provide support, structured training, and motivation for anyone starting their HYROX journey or looking to take their performance to the next level.
