I was watching the news yesterday and this came up. Dr. Say it is a real epidemic and a REAL PROBLEM!
Cause: strain of constantly looking down at our phones or laptops!
To help with it, the Doctors are recommending BELLY TIME!
What is this: It is where you lay on your belly, looking upwards toward your phone or laptop/computer if possible.
What this does: Like with infants learning to raise their heads - they lay on their belly and raise their head and during this process- it is strengthening the muscles in their neck until they are able to hold their head up and look around.
For us: This is the same idea Dr’s feel will help with “Tech Neck”! By doing this as we are looking at our phones and all, it will relieve the strain put on the neck from looking down ALL THE TIME!
If it’s from learning things like we are- or just everything we do on our phones or laptops in a day.
This makes sense and I thought I would share it with all of my friends/teammates aka The Community. 🥰
I am going to try it and if you do as well- I pray 🙏 it works for you and will help your neck if you have been having pain from strain of neck muscles!
