My First DIY Tower Grow...
Hey folks! I've been away for awhile, off-grid, moving, rebuilding, etc. Been missing this group this is one of my favorites! I finally took a some time to go thru some photos and make a little recap of my very first tower grow earlier this year! I decided to go the DIY route, and I designed and built everything myself. This a prototype test run that was Largely built off of Chad's inspiring teachings and experiences!! So Thank you so much @Chad Miner for all you do! Huge shoot out to you man! I'm not sure I would have pulled this off at all with out your wisdom, support, and encouragement! "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants" - Isaac Newton

fertilizer question
There is so much information out there regarding the do's and don'ts of fertilizing. This fertilizer for vegetative growth then this fertilizer for blooming and fruiting...ahhh...what's a girl to do? I know procedures differ depending on if you grow indoors or outdoors, in ground or containers and in soil or hydroponically but does anyone have suggestions or recommendations on what they use and do? Also, if you start feeding your plants one brand of fertilizer, can you switch to another if the nutrient formula is similar, or do you have to continue with the same fertilizer brand? For context, I am growing cucumbers, sweet peppers and cherry tomatoes in buckets with air stones. I'm growing indoors in grow tents with lights and fans. I'm using Masterblend Tomato and Vegetable formula 4-18-38. Should I be using a different formula when the plants start blooming and fruiting? Thanks
Seedlings
Hi everyone, Hope you are all doing well... Just wanted to ask opinions on where you growers get your seedlings from? I want to start with seeds next year but for my first round of experiments with this system I would like to start with strong healthy seedlings.
Lighting is Important
I am a Watchmaker just beginning my adventure into hydroponics. The pics show an interesting comparison. The cucumber seeds are the same and they were planted at the same time. The first shows the results of insufficient lighting and the second with appropriate lighting. When Chad says lighting is very important, I believe him.
