*Catching fire*
One thing I like to teach and talk about is acknowledging the small, thoughtless tasks that you may do out of kindness that you may not think is a big deal. Volunteering at a church, school, extended care facility or a community charity event. Donating to your favorite charity. Participating in food drives. Donating items to a shelter or thrift store instead of taking them to the dump. If you really think about it, these things speak to your character and really say something about the type of person that you are!
Write them down!!
Post about them on social media!!
Tell your friends and family about them!!
Teach your children about them!!
Don't forget about them!!
Add them to your resume!!
These small tasks that you do that you might not think are big things are exactly the sparks that can catch fire and spread goodness to you and everyone around you! Keep kindling that fire and always recognize that your willingness to be a good human being doesn't go unnoticed!!
