What looks like criticism about his wife reveals a deeper issue of comparison and questioning the authority God gave Moses. God responds by defending Moses and reminding them that He appoints leaders according to His will. This passage warns us about comparing ourselves, jealousy , gossip, and speaking against leadership, especially when we know things shared in trust within ministry.
