A Prayer of Repentance and Total Surrender to God

Father God

I come to You right now with a real and honest heart. I know I need You. I cannot live right without You and I don’t want to live my way anymore.

Lord I repent for my sins. Everything I have done that went against You in my thoughts, my words, my actions, and my heart. I turn away from all of it. Please forgive me and wash me clean through Jesus.

God I lay my life down before You. I don’t want to be led by my own desires anymore. I don’t want my own will to be in control. I choose to die to myself today.

Kill everything in me that is not like You. Take out pride, selfishness, rebellion, and anything that fights against Your will in my life. I don’t want to be led by my flesh anymore.

Jesus I take up my cross. Teach me how to follow You for real and not just in words. Help me obey You even when it is hard and even when I don’t feel like it.

Holy Spirit fill me. Change me from the inside out. Make me think, speak, and live like Jesus. I want my life to belong fully to You.

I give You my whole life. I am Yours.
