📖 “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.”— James 4:8
I was out on the trail today, running and thinking about how unworthy I am of God and His grace. The mistakes, the flaws, the sins, the days I fall short — it all just hit me at once. And then, out of nowhere, I felt something I can’t describe in any way other than this: He met me.
Right there in the middle of the woods, in the dark, in the cold, God filled me with an overwhelming sense of pure love, comfort, happiness, and peace. Not because I earned it. Not because I deserved it. But because that’s who He is.
The truth is simple:God will meet you — if you allow Him to.He doesn’t force Himself into your day. He doesn’t push His way into your heart. But the moment you slow down enough to let Him in, the moment you turn your thoughts toward Him, He rushes toward you with a love that breaks every lie of unworthiness.
Running or resting, strong or exhausted, confident or broken — He meets you in all of it.
You’re not unworthy.
You're choosen.
You're loved.
And He delights in meeting you right where you are.
🕊️Reflection & Prayer
Reflection:Where am I keeping God at a distance? And what would it look like today to open the door for Him — even for a moment — and let Him meet me with His peace?
Prayer:Lord, thank You for meeting me in unexpected places. Thank You for Your grace, Your love, and the peace You pour out even when I feel unworthy. Help me slow down, open my heart, and allow You into every part of my day. Meet me where I am, and reshape my spirit with Your presence.
