Pine Needle Syrup
A nourishing forest tonic crafted under the Holisticary philosophy ̶ Where Earth Meets Essence™
Ingredients
• 2 cups fresh pine needles (white pine, spruce, or fir ̶ avoid yew)
• 2 cups water
• 1 cup raw honey (or organic cane sugar)
• 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
• Optional: juniper berries, cinnamon, or ginger for depth
Instructions
1. Gather & Clean ̶ Harvest bright green, pesticide-free pine needles and rinse.
2. Simmer ̶ Bring water to a gentle boil, add pine needles and optional herbs. Simmer 15‒20 minutes.
3. Steep ̶ Remove from heat, cover, and let steep 30‒60 minutes.
4. Strain ̶ Strain through cheesecloth or fine mesh.
5. Sweeten ̶ Add honey (do not boil), stirring until dissolved.
6. Bottle ̶ Pour into a sterilized jar or bottle. Store refrigerated up to 1 month.
Dosage & Use
• 1 tsp daily as an immune tonic
• Mix into tea or sparkling water
• Drizzle over pancakes, yogurt, or oatmeal
