Well… look who finally stepped up.
Max Domi drops the gloves with Gudas after the Matthews situation — and suddenly there’s a pulse in Toronto. About time.
That’s what protecting your teammates looks like.
That’s emotion.
That’s accountability.
That’s hockey.
Domi didn’t just fight… he sent a message:
“You’re not taking liberties with our guys anymore.”
The real question is…
Will the rest of the Toronto “chicken shit Leafs catch that courage?
Because one guy showing backbone doesn’t change a team’s identity.
You need:
- guys finishing checks
- guys getting in scrums
- guys sticking up for each other
- guys playing like they actually care
Too often this Leafs team looks like they’re playing a skills competition instead of playoff hockey. Lots of talent… not a lot of bite.
Domi brought the bite.
Now where’s everyone else?
Does this spark something?
Or is this just one guy trying to drag a soft team into a fight?
Leafs fans — is Domi the heartbeat now?
Hockey players — does one fight change a room?
Or are the Leafs still soft?
