💬 What I Wish I Knew Before Going Back to Work After Maternity Leave
When I returned to work, I thought the hardest part would be organising childcare.
I wasn’t ready for the emotional weight that came with it.
Suddenly, I was juggling broken sleep, mum guilt, performance anxiety, and a quiet fear that I wasn’t the same woman I was before.
There were also real questions that no one was talking about:
  • What has changed in my role while I was away?
  • How do I manage home life, work, and a relationship all at once?
  • Will I still be taken seriously at work?
These are the real conversations we need to have.
This is why I created HERA — a space for women like us to feel supported, seen, and ready to step back into our careers without losing ourselves.
If you’re feeling any of this, please know you’re not alone.Let’s support each other through this transition.
💫 You’re evolving. Let’s rise together.
