Today carries a call. A pull. A tug from the Spirit saying: โ€œMake room for Me. Move everything else aside. Come sit with Me.โ€
Jesus begins this parable with a prophetic charge. โ€œMen ought always to pray, and not to faint.โ€
In Luke 18, Jesus introduces us to a widow. A woman with no status, no backing, no earthly power. A woman who didnโ€™t have influenceโ€ฆ but she had persistence.
She came before an unjust judge.
A man who didnโ€™t fear God and didnโ€™t care about people. He wasnโ€™t compassionate. He wasnโ€™t moved by emotion. He wasnโ€™t touched by tears. Yet every dayโ€ฆ she came.
Every day she showed up. Every day she knocked. Every day she asked. Every day she pressed her petition forward.
Finally the judge said: โ€œBecause this woman continues to comeโ€ฆ she will weary me.โ€
He did not move because he was kind. He did not respond because he was righteous. He responded because she would not stop coming.
Jesus tells this story for YOU, sis.
To show you something deep about prayer. Your consistency moves heaven. Your perseverance unlocks doors. Your continual coming delights the heart of God.
This is not the hour to faint. This is not the hour to fold. This is not the hour to drown in discouragement. This is not the hour to retreat.
God has NOT called you to throw in the towel.
He has not called you to give up. He has not called you to back up or bow out. He has called you to press.
Press in prayer. Press in surrender. Press in worship. Press through distractions. Press through weariness. Press until your spirit breaks open again.
Press until your sensitivity returns. Press until the presence of God fills the room.
Something happens when a woman keeps coming. When a woman refuses to let go.
When a woman says: โ€œLord, whatever I have to lay aside โ€” I lay aside. Whatever I need to move โ€” I move. Whatever I must release โ€” I release.
I MAKE ROOM FOR YOU.โ€
Make room for the Lord of Hosts. Make room for the Lord of Glory. Make room for His presence. Make room for His voice.
You are the persistent widow today. You are the woman who keeps returning. You are the woman who refuses to quit. You are the woman who says, โ€œI will NOT stop coming.โ€
Your persistence is shifting something in your spirit. Your surrender is opening a door that hell cannot shut.
Sisters ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–today your answer is simple. Yes Lordโ€ฆ I surrender. We make room for You.
