Just Who Are You Becoming - and Why?
There's no limit to how far you can go, if you keep chasing after L.I.F.E. - Learn, Involve, Focus and Expect! All of these are wrapped up in you "becoming"...
Have you ever really thought about, just who it is, you are becoming - and why?
Honest question - are you happy with that or would you like to become more...deep down, you know it's in you - but how do you effectively harness the depths of your heart, soul and mind and how to develop, increase and promote a better you? Or is it all just too flippin' hard - why bother?
Or, alternatively - are you already heading in a well thought through direction with realistically challenging goals in mind, with strategic plans in place to hit those goals?
Either way - What solid plans do you have to improve your next 5 days, 5 months, five years?
Hello - I'm Joe Armstrong and this is where I come in... Welcome to Helping You Become...
Why me? - over 40 years of Business and Ministry experience, a very successful Radio Broadcast - I've been teaching on air (radio) EVERY WEEK for over 22 years and never missed a week! My wife Lynda and I have been married (to each other!) for 34 years and still going strong, raised 4 daughters, all very successful in their own right. Lynda and I also pastored our Church for nearly 20 years as well.
Four critical things about L.I.F.E. that I want to help you with:
1) Learn - but not just learn any old thing - Life's way too short to absorb nonsense - let's cut to the bottom line, avoid the waffle and absorb truth that's stood the test of time from when God created the heavens and the earth - with plans, strategies and pre-determined outcomes in mind. None of the proverbial "BS" - but Biblical Wisdom explained, that covers every area of life - truth that is 1000's of years old and still cannot be mastered even today. Luke 21:3 - "Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away".
2) Get Involved - It's nice to make a difference but it's better to BE the difference - life is about others and the value that you bring to others whilst you are here. Be a contributor, not a taker. The more life you give, the more life is given back to you. What you sow is what you will reap + 'seedtime and harvest' - maybe even 100X. The laws of seed/plant and harvest! People need to learn how to do this well.
3) Focus - maintained and protected focus is a key component of success.
Broken focus creates delay and ultimately failure. No exceptions.
One of the most ever-powerful influencers on planet earth, that has EVER lived and walked is the Apostle Paul - he writes this in Philippians 3:13 KJV (part) ".....this one thing I do... - FOCUS from the man God entrusted to record some 2/3's of the New testament!
4) Expectation - Just imagine a life with nothing to look forward to! People end their lives because they actually do believe their future will be worse than their present - such a terrible, heart-wrenching tragedy and it doesn't have to be so.
Expectation is one of the linking mechanisms that accelerates your future into your present - just make sure it's a good future - one crafted and designed by you!
Expectation affects Passion,
Passion affects Faith,
Faith overcomes impossibility...I'll have a lot more to say about this is time to come.
