This month forced me to make some difficult decisions.
I realized I can't do everything.
Between releasing music every Friday, writing books, running multiple websites, trying to build a business, and keeping up with social media, I finally hit a point where something had to give. Some projects were cut. Others were completely reimagined.
At the same time, I published The Myth of the Sun, nearly finished Gaia Rules, started planning the next wave of books, rebranded Eric Leo 108, and made a major shift toward using music as a charitable asset through the Gaia Rules initiative. I also share updates on upcoming albums, what's happening behind the scenes with my label, where the business is struggling, and where I think it's headed over the next year.
This monthly update is an honest look at what's working, what isn't, and the lessons I'm learning while trying to build an independent career in music, philosophy, and education from the ground up.
If you're interested in independent artistry, entrepreneurship, philosophy, or simply following the journey as it unfolds, I think you'll get something out of this one.
