✨ From Surviving to Thriving 🌱 Rooted in Truth, Rising in Purpose Part 2
My first experience connecting with nature as medicine was nothing short of profound.
I had just undergone foot surgery and was doped up on OxyContin—numbed out, foggy, and still in pain. My mother was at work, my father running errands. I was home from High School, stuck on the couch feeling like a zombie in my own body.
Then, something shifted.A message floated through my consciousness:“Smoke me.”
I paused, confused… then realized exactly what she meant.I had a stash—some marijuana my best friend and I had shared, hidden away in the back of my closet. I gimped upstairs, retrieved the pipe and weed wrapped in socks, and made my way out to the waterfall in my backyard.
Alone in nature, I took my first solo inhale of Mary Jane
And I’m not exaggerating when I say—the moment that smoke touched my lips and entered my lungs, the pain melted away.
Instant relief. A breath of hope.
That moment cracked something open inside me. It was the gateway to a deeper knowing:True healing doesn’t come in a bottle or under a surgeon’s knife.
It unraveled so many stories I had been told—about medicine, about healing, about what was “right.”From that day forward, my relationship with plant medicine began.
I always sensed there were other paths to healing…But it wasn’t until I left behind everything I knew that I could actually discover them.
I tend to dive into the deep end and go allin!And I know that’s not how most people choose to learn or grow.Humans are instinctively creatures of habit.We repeat what’s familiar…Until something wakes us up.
As the saying goes—"To know and not to do is really not to know." – Stephen R. Covey
Even when we learn something new,actually doing it—stepping outside of what’s comfortable—takes courage.Especially when you’re surrounded by the same people, the same routines,living in the same environment that shaped your “normal.”
But for me, radical healing required radical change.Every deep transmutation I’ve gone through has called for a new environment—new energy, new soil to root into.
And that’s exactly what I gave myself.
I just had to remove myself from the system to remember. To reawaken the truth that was already inside me.
As you read this, I’ve spent nearly four years living off-grid—unplugged from my old life, mostly offline, and guided fully by the tug of my heart.Rediscovering the wisdom of my inner child.Dancing with my shadows.Aligning with synchronicities guided by Source.
I don’t follow a rigid plan.I follow my Heart Tug—that sacred inner compass and it hasn’t failed me yet.
I walk, run, swim, and drive in divine partnership with the Universe—mesmerized by miracles unfolding all around me.
I’ve healed myself from an autoimmune disease.I’ve shed the labels of dyslexia and ADHD.I’ve overcome the crippling effects of complex PTSD.
From witnessing generational karma unfold as my father took his life in front of my family and I…To being drugged and raped—losing touch with my sexual joy,confusing love with pain,and giving my body away before ever truly claiming it as my own.
For ten years, I used alcohol to loosen up—to date, to have sex, to feel wanted.What I once felt was sexual liberationI now perceive as a deep disconnection from my worth.
Alcohol numbed my body,blurred my boundaries,and silenced my intuition.
When I finally put down the bottle and began healing,I was devastated by how much of my sacred sexuality I had given away—not out of empowerment, but out of unawareness.
I wasn’t taught to name my worth.I didn’t know how to identify, claim, or communicate my boundaries. So I had to learn the hard way.
My new perception of self worth, love, and respect came from over a year of celibacy.
Now, I move with courageous willpower—and share my truth to spark a soul-deep revolution in every woman who’s forgotten she is divine.
I’ve unwound the illusion of my addictions—where I once used marijuana and alcohol to self-medicate and numb what I didn’t yet know how to face.I was numb—so deeply out of touch with my sacred body, my holy temple.
I don’t believe in the phrase “once an addict, always an addict.”That’s a victim mindset—a story that keeps us stuck.
I believe addiction is a response to a void inside ourselves.When we’re disconnected from our truth, our joy, our purpose—we reach for something to soothe that void.Addiction becomes a placeholder for the love, safety, and aliveness we all long for.
But when we come home to ourselves…When we fully heal that void…
When we nourish our bodies with presence,when we create lives we loveand meet our needs with intention—addiction dissolves.
What’s left is devotion.Devotion to our higher selves. To the Source that birthed all of creation.And guess what?That Source?It’s not outside of you—that’s an illusion too.
I’ve broken generational cycles.I’ve dismantled limiting belief systems.I’ve experienced what true healing feels like—when the soul, body, and mind are in harmony.
I’ve held the dream of leading a revolution—And I’ve walked through spiritual combat to earn that vision.
Because now, I know what lives on the other side of pain:Undeniable faith. Abundance of gratitude. Reclaimed sacred power.
Heart Tug Movement was born from divine tribulations, soul lessons, and deep alchemy.All the pain, all the suffering—It gifted me wisdom. It shaped me. It initiated me.
This movement chose me.And I chose to say YES.
I’ve ridden the wild roller coaster of life.And without the devastating lows…I don’t think I would’ve ever tasted the beauty of such profound, breathtaking highs.
Now—it’s time to rise.And I’m rising by showing up, boldly and unapologetically, to reach the masses.
Because I’ve seen too many friends—my father included—take their own lives, or battle chronic illness until their final breath.
I cannot keep pressing pause on the revolution I was born to lead.
Our world needs more light.More joy.More truth.
Over the years, strangers and friends alike have called me Sunshine—a ray of light. Now I understand why.I’m here to illuminate the path for others who are ready to rise.
This is more than a community—It’s a living movement.A sanctuary for dreamers, conscious creators, and New Earth activistsready to rise, rewrite the rules, and co-create a new reality.

When I first started my travel vlog—when I began showing up online—I was drowning in imposter syndrome. I had both toxic and transformative experiences that ultimately grounded me in my purpose and reminded me why I feel called to share my life vulnerably online. Looking back, I realize now: I had so much unlearning to do before stepping fully into a role of leadership. And while I’m still discovering deeper layers of truth, I now carry the confidence of someone who has lived, learned, and risen through it all and still actively chooses to be the radiant beam of Sunshine landing on your screen.
